About the Website
As a brand-new community website, we don’t have any supporters listed yet. But a few locals and businesses are already setting up small monthly standing orders to help the kids at Hightae Primary School. Every single penny goes straight to the Parent Council for trips, equipment, events and all the little extras that make school days special.
Hightae.co.uk is the community website for Hightae and the Royal Four Towns (Hightae, Heck, Greenhill and Smallholm) in Dumfries & Galloway.
I’m Clarke Duncan, and I built and maintain the site and run it via one of my companies, Leonico Ltd. The goal is simple: give locals, visitors and anyone who loves the area a clean, fast, useful place to find events, gallery photos, walks, planning updates, real-time air quality and all the everyday information that makes village life easier.
It’s run on a completely voluntary basis by someone who actually lives here. No big council budget, no advertising overload – just honest, local information put together with care.
