Hightae is a tight-knit village where people look out for each other. From local events and groups to the Royal Four Towns Fishing Association and the village hall, there’s always something happening.
Community Council
The Royal Four Towns Community Council represents Hightae, Heck, Greenhill and Smallholm. They meet regularly, raise local issues with Dumfries & Galloway Council, handle planning consultations, maintain footpaths, organise salt bins and support vulnerable residents in winter.
